Descaling
Electric kettles should be descaled regularly using commercial descaling solutions available on the market and follow the instructions on the product packaging, or use vinegar and follow the guidelines below.
1. Add 0.6 cup (6 oz) of vinegar and then fill the kettle with clean water. Let it sit overnight.
2. Pour out the vinegar and refill with clean water. Boil and discard the water. Repeat until the vinegar smell fades. Any remaining stains inside the spout can be cleaned by rubbing with a damp cloth.
Warning: Descaling should be performed strictly according to the manufacturer's instructions. Do not use sharp objects or attempt to scrape off deposits as this may damage the interior surface.
Note: After using the electric kettle for a period of time, scale buildup may occur inside, which is normal and not harmful to health. If the amount is excessive, it may affect performance.
