Maintenance and Cleaning
- Wipe all outer surfaces with warm water mixed with soap or cleaning product, then wipe dry with a cloth
- Soak the filter in water mixed with baking soda to help reduce grease, soak overnight at minimum
- After soaking, gently scrub the filter and other parts with a soft sponge to remove dirt
- Clean the oil filter at least once a month
- After cleaning the filter thoroughly, wipe or air dry in the sun completely before reinstalling
