Descaling
Electric kettles should be regularly descaled using commercial descaling products available in the market and follow the instructions on the product packaging, or use white vinegar and follow these steps:
1. Pour 0.6 measuring cup (6 oz) of white vinegar, then fill the kettle with clean water. Let it sit overnight.
2. Pour out the vinegar and fill with fresh water. Boil, pour out the water, and repeat until the vinegar smell is gone. Remaining stains inside the spout can be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth wrung out well.
Caution: Descaling should be done strictly according to the manufacturer's instructions. Do not use sharp objects or attempt to scrape off the scale to prevent damage to the inner surface.
Note: After using the electric kettle for a period of time, scale may form inside, which is normal and not harmful to health. If the amount is significant, it may affect the kettle's performance.
